We offer luxurious and comfortable accommodation in a tranquil harbour side location. Kinderhook is two farm cottages tastefully converted and extended and now home to John and Audrey. It is decorated with light and gentle colours, antique furniture and lovely art.Kinderhook is situated on a quiet private lane in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a stone's throw from the picturesque Birdham pool and vibrant Chichester Marina. We are ideally located for easy access to Chichester and its shops, the natural harbour with all its water sports and the sandy beaches of the Witterings. Chichester harbour is one of the few undeveloped coastal areas in Southern England. Designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Harbour is enjoyed by thousands of boating enthusiasts. The coastal path, Salterns Way, is on our doorstep and you can enjoy one of the many walks. Step outside the front door and a typical walk from the house would be along the beautiful shoreline to Itchenor or in the opposite direction to Dell Quay both about a 2 12mile walk with breathtaking estuary views.Enjoy a pub lunch at the Crown and Anchor Dell Quay overlooking the estuary or the Ship at Itchenor situated a short walk from the foreshore. Chichester, with the Festival Theatre, Glorious Goodwood home to horse racing, the Festival of Speed and the Revival meeting The Park golf course set in grounds of the Goodwood Estate is open to non members. West Wittering beach and local bird reserves are close by.

A27 - Road: From the A27 take the A286chichester A27 - Road: From the Chichester A27 byepass take the A286 towards The Witterings you will pass Chichester Marina on your right, carry on and arrive at the top of the Birdham straight. After 1 mile you will enter a 40mph zone at the start of Birdham. After 500 yards you will see a right hand turn into Church lane, go down church lane and take the second right just before the Church into Court Barn Lane Private road. Kinderhook is the second house on the right.
