Within easy walking distance are both the South Downs Way and the Monarchs Way long distance footpaths and the area has many lanes and bridleways which are conveniently accessable from the farm for anyone who enjoys cycling and mountain biking. Chilgrove farm is located a short distance off the B2141, in the hamlet of Chilgrove which is just 6 miles to the north of Chichester, West Sussex, and is also ideally positioned for visiting the historic city and many of the other visitor attractions in the locality, including the Chichester Festival Theatre,Chichester Harbour, and the many events which take place annually in this area throughout the year. Goodwood is within easy reach and the accomodation is ideally placed for visitors who might wish to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Goodwood revival meeting, Glorious Goodwood or any other of the many annual sporting events and racing fixtures, or simply enjoy a game of golf.

Directions

Chichester - Road: Follow the signs for Midhurst and the A286 north. Pass through the village of Lavant, and then take the first left onto the B2141. After approximately 3 miles as you approach the top of the valley, turn right into Chilgrove Park Road. (At the junction you will see a black and white sign for Chilgrove Farm BandB) Go straight over a small crossroads, past Chilgrove House to your left and farm buildings to your right. Chilgrove farmhouse is the next house on the right.Petersfield - Road: Take the B2146 to South Harting. Turn right in the village, staying on the B2146. As the road begins to climb the hill look out for a turning off to the left signposted B2141 and Chichester. Take this road for approximately 3 miles over the downs until it descends steeply. As the road levels out you will go past Chilgrove village green on your left, then take the second turning left into Chilgrove Park Road. Go straight over a small crossroads and past farm buildings to your rightMidhust - Road: Take the A286, following the signs for Chichester. You will climb up over the downs at Cocking and then down into the village of Singleton. Stay on the A286 through West Dean until the road straightens out and turns gently down hill. Just past a pair of flint cottages you will take the next turning right onto the B2141. Stay on this road for approximately 3 miles until you reach Chilgrove and then take the first right into Chilgrove Park Road.
